Thanks, for sharing. We did read some of it, until we felt totally lost. It's so awesome to us how someone knows and writes about all this stuff. Needless to say we're quite proud!!! Dad after whipping thru and understanding all 14 pages, has already approved it.

Spindleriffic Ride

Yesterday the critical mass ride route went to Berwyn, IL to save the spindle! You can totally see the spindle in the middle of the plaza on the gmap satellite. It was mucho fun, and we got to eat at Ixtapa which had delicious mexican food!

Crazy In Love

I love my advisor.
Only she could go through my 47th draft of prelim and write hundreds of comments like:

"Is the band reaL?? Shouldn’t it be more robust?? Can you really work with something so weak??? ALL THESE ISSUES MUST BE ADDRESSED"

This is exactly the kind of tough love I need. :)

Deborah Cox has a new JAZZ CD out, which of course I heard about on News&Notes hehe.
It's actually really really good, especially for a Saturday afternoon of working outdoors. Who knew!

The hot gay trend at Roscoe's last night was singing along, loudly, to the "Hey hey hey" part of Umbrella, you know, after she sings "Umbrella ella ella."
