Tramp

We did the eye today. There's a bunch of muscles that pull your eye in different directions. One is the "superior oblique" which turns your eye laterally (away from your nose) and ironically inferiorly (down). In England this muscle is called the "tramp" muscle because a "tramp" there is someone who is "down and out" on their luck, almost like a hobo. Or as Ms. Forest said "the word tramp doesn't have the same meaning of a woman with loose morals in England."
Right...morals.

Check out this cool site on what lesions to your eye muscles will look like! (click the simulator at the top)
