Uvula

So we are doing oral cavity today. We're supposed to look inside each others' mouths and see features we can't see very well on the cadavers. I go over to hear Ms. Forest at about 5, and since she knows my name, she asks me to open my mouth wide so she can point out features to like 15 people standing around. Well the first thing she says is "Wow! Your uvula is huge! What interesting anatomy!" I of course start laughing, and then everyone crowds around to see it. Then I fling my tongue up and she says "Wow, your deep lingual veins and submandibular duct openings are quite prominent too!" I had no idea.

(By the way uvula is the hangy thing in the back of your throat. It means grape in Latin)
